Goal Sports is a recreational beginner sports league run by First Presbyterian Church of Trenton.  It is for kids 3-10 years of age. We offer Fall and Spring soccer and Fall flag football.

• The cost is $16 per child, per season.
• Each player must also purchase a Goal Sports reversible jersey.  The cost is $23 per jersey but can be used for all Goal sports programs.  Many children use the same jersey the entire time they're in the league.

Fall and Spring soccer seasons are 6 weeks.  Fall flag football is 4 weeks.

• GOAL Jersey.  Coaches should let parents know what color the team will be wearing each week.
• Water bottle with child's name labeled on it.
• Soccer only: Soccer cleats and shin guards.  Children should also bring their own soccer ball (with name on it). 

Practices and games are held on the same day (Saturday mornings) at Elizabeth Park.  Coaches will hold a practice for the first half  and a game for the second half of your child's time slot. 

Coaches are volunteers (so please be patient and kind). Many of our coaches are members of First Pres and many are parents of kids in the league. We are always looking for more volunteers.

Creating teams is a complicated process and it is helpful to us if we don't have too many requests for teams.  However, we do understand there can be situations where a child needs to be with familiar friend or sibling in order to play.  If that is the case, you can request a teammate during registration.  We will do our best to honor these requests.

Please try to have your child attend each week.  Our seasons are very short and it's hard on teams and coaches if they don't have consistent attendance. 

It is also helpful if parents are available to help the coach as needed (especially with the younger children).  It never hurts to ask prior to a practice if you can assist in any way.
