JOIN US FOR WORSHIP, this Sunday, September 05 at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Gavin Meek will preach a sermon entitled "What's Next?" drawn from the following Scripture Lessons: Haggai 1:1-15, I Peter 2:1-10. The UVA singing group, Jubilate, will provide all the special music during our unified worship service. Immediately following worship, we will have our annual congregational meeting in the sanctuary to elect officers (elders and deacons), the congregational at-large members to the 2011 Nominating Committee AND the Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC)! (The bio's and pictures of all the nominees are in the August edition of The First Pres). Following that meeting, for the remaining time until 12 noon, Gavin will share information about the PNC process and answer questions from the congregation. At 12 noon, we will enjoy our Fall Picnic! Meaningful worship, good music, exciting meeting, helpful learning, scrumptious food, and fun fellowship! See ya there!
